I've decided i'm just going to jump into it and see if what happens works for me
people say it's a slow process if i take a low dosage so i guess that's what i'll end up doing
but out of curiosity, what is a dosage that'll be low enough to make it go slow and give me time does anyone know?
I'm assuming doctors will but i want to ask trans people because i don't know how smart my doctors around here are there in a very small area with few trans people and 5 years behind medical care.

Congratulations :). I've read your previous post about not being able to make up your mind. I don't know what would be considered a low dose. Just bring it up with your doctor and ask that you want to start slowly. I'd assume he'd start with a low dose as he's not familiar with adminstring T and would want to make sure he wasn't causing you damage. You could try testogel, which tends to work slower than injectable T. Although I've heard it can be expensive in America even with insurance.

There's no guarantee as far as dosage goes. It's really all down to your body chemistry and how well you take to it. I was on a low dose for a month to start, and I got just as many changes as guys on a regular dose who started at the same time. Gel vs. injections also does not seem to matter based on my experience.

Congratulations.

I am glad you have made up your mind bout HRT.

About dosages and your doctor. If the doctor is unfamiliar then perhaps another doctor would be best. If there are no doctors available then perhaps they can consult with a doctor that is familiar with the process.
