I am just about to hit the 1 year mark on starting my transition and thought I would share the year in review.

These pictures show the beginning of my transition.  The first is how I dressed for my very first therapy session.  March 2nd is the day I began HRT.  The next two pictures show how HRT was working.  In addition, in mid-April I had some work done on my nose and had my Adams Apple reduced and I had my eyebrows shaped shortly before the April 27th picture.)

These pictures show the continued changes from HRT and some changes in my hair color.  The August 27th picture was taken a couple of days before I underwent Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and Breast Augmentation (BA) surgery.

The Sep 3rd picture was taken just a few days after the FFS and BA surgeries.  I had my hairline lowered, brow bone reduction, forehead contouring, upper and lower eyelid work and a brow lift.  You can see how the surgery settled over the next couple of months in the other pictures.

These pictures show the last two months of my transition.  The bottom two pictures show how much I have changed from the day I started HRT to now.



It is absolutly amazing how much you can accomplish in a years time.  I have completely transitioned to living as a woman full time and all of my documents have been updated to reflect my correct gender.  It is a much different world we live in today compared to the one I grew up in.

The fact that you've come this far in just a year is praiseworthy. It was THREE years ago that I started pondering transition, and nearing TWO years since I started HRT, and I feel like I'm still busting my butt haha! I love your makeup also!

It is much eaiser to smile now that I am living an authentic life.  (I hear the you've got a great smile thing a lot )

I hope that by sharing I can give other ladies encouragement and support that they may need in making their decisions about transitioning. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this site when I did. I got so much helpful advice and support.

Terri - I love what Dr. Lee did for me. People are amazed when I tell them I had surgery because you really can't tell from looking at me, even up close. Be sure to let me know when you will be in town.

Gotta give credit where it's due; well done Jessie Ann, very well done

You're completely and unquestionably passable now and an inspiration to a lot of girls around here.

Very amusing to think that the Feb 8th pic (which, iirc, was the first time I saw a picture of you here) is not even a year old!

I don't know about getting drunk (I have a marathon electrolyis session in the morning) but I am going to enjoy a couple glasses of wine tonight.
