I went to see my doctor for a refill on HRT and he was on holiday, so I saw the walk in doctor. She looked at the meds I was on (spiro and estradiol) and asked if I had PCOS (something you need ovaries for). I said "no, I'm trans." Clearly this just messed with her mind even more, since when she looked at my bloodwork and saw that my testosterone was at a higher than normal level, she told me that I needed to stop taking testosterone supplements for at least 6 months and then get my bloodwork done again (?). At this point, I figured it was hopeless to try to explain things, told her I would stop the T supplements, got my prescriptions, and got out of there.
