Jacqueline

Morning Everyone,

Sorry for wasting space before. I will try this again with thumbnails embeded.

I am getting a wig professionally styled on Tuesday afternoon. I have problems seeing my face. Hoping you could all help me pick a style that will work for me.

Few thoughts:

Photos are in the order of the poll

Done with one of those virtual make over sites. All with the same photo.
I am not on hormones yet (although it could be Tuesday)
No make up on.
I am trying to see what looks best with me at my near worst.
I am a little sensitive but would love any additional constructive criticism to help my look (make up,  or other wise).
I have never posted my face here before. So, a little nervous.

Now to try and post photos:

Thanks again for patience and sorry for wasting time and bandwidth before. This will be so helpful.

With nervous gratitude,

Joanna

I had to work and this is the first time I saw it. Your face is round so that allows you a bit more freedom in style selection. The high hair line and your tall forehead makes me think you should go with bangs or at least with the hair pulled off to the side but still covering most of your forehead. With the ratio of your face reduced, it should work well with a medium to longer cut. A bit of fullness on the side would help frame your face. This could be done with a full straight cut or with a small amount of wave in the side. Stay away from real curly as it might make you look a bit like Shirley Temple in her younger days.

I voted this morning (long wave) but never posted. I think a side part helps with the forehead.

Any other last minute votes, selections? It is costing a decent amount and my issue of seeing all my face at once makes me look for this help. Sorry if this seems frivilous.

thanks again

Are you buying a permanent wig or something to wear until you get some length?

Synthetic. It is pretty amazing fall, feel and texture.

Some or possibly all of the images have been removed. About half of them are now missing on my screen and it's possible the images are the ones stored on my computer from the last time I loaded the page. Over time, I am pretty sure they will vanish as well. Often people are uncomfortable with leaving their images up for a long time and that's the reason you should store your images on a server that you can remove them from if you change your mind. The moderators are willing to help you with problems, but we don't want to alter hundreds of pages because a user changed their mind.

I was on a deadline. It is true. I am not comfortable with seeing myself in any form yet. I am just getting so I can see myself in my wig now. However, as I am not out at all and still not really comfy, I yanked the images from the server that was being accessed.

Sorry. But it really was just to help me decide how to get is styled.

Thanks for the interest. I am getting up courage that I may soon post a shot or two of me in the actual wig, here. Not sure I am ready for that as an avatar yet.

A little timidly,

Joanna

Many people with thousands of posts still haven't put up an avatar and that is their right. There is no requirement to post in open forum anything you are uncomfortable with and even as a moderator, I have very little information on a user.

If and when you be come comfortable, we will welcome your images but until then do only what you are comfortable with.
