I attended an event yesterday with a lot of speakers from various state and national civil rights organizations.  After the event, one person wanted a picture of all the transgender people there and asked us all if it was ok to put it on her page.  This morning I got a message from someone who saw the picture and said she remembered all the help I gave her when she was transitioning years ago.  Now keep in mind, this was someone from here at Susan's who was in another city from me and probably close to fifteen years ago.  We would exchange emails and talk about her transition and such.  I have to admit someone remembering you for your help that long ago is a wonderful feeling. I'm proud of my tears this morning.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

BeverlyAnn, it is also because you care that you received this ultimate compliment. We've been "seeing" each other here off and on for a decade now and I feel your generous soul coming through the interweb tubes. I'm happy that someone was able to tell you that face to face.
