I can't find a gynecologist who treats post op trans in my area. So very stressful! I feel like my hormone doctor is doing well taking care of me but he lacks a bit information with a post op girl like myself who's having granulation tissue. How many of you post op girls just went to a regular obgyn and got the proper care you need because I am thinking about just going to a regular obgyn. 

That was where I had my follow up care and he even prescribed premarin cream to help the vagina tissue convert to the proper type. The care CIS women sometimes need is very similar to what we need post surgical.

For my primary care, I have made my decision to see a female physician whose office is a Medi-Spa near my home. She specializes in bio-identical hormone therapy and cosmetic procedures such as hair removal and skin rejuvenation. She is also board certified in internal medicine. Any gynecological issues can be referred to a specialist.

Really, routine gynecological issues for a post-op woman are not the same as for natal women. They are more like a natal woman who is post hysterectomy. If I have post surgical issues with my genitals, I will return to the surgeon who did my surgery in the first place.

Well granulation is often treated with silver nitrate .
Otherwise bioidentical estrogen cream might help soften the tissue.
Some people have issues with premarin cream because of smell .

Some have ethical issues too.

Personally I'm concerned as its not human estrogen. I don't see how that can be a good idea. Surely there's better alternatives?
