Just wanted to give everyone an update in case you were interested in my current state. :) I saw my end on Sunday, and told her all about the fatigue, depression and lack of drive I've had lately. She took my levels and described what may be necessary. As always, she was super kind and informative about the whole thing. Got a call today, and to my shock, she actually wants me to increase my dosages of Spiro and Estraidol, since my testosterone levels are apparently still a little too high. I am also apparently showing a decidedly low vitamin D level, so she put me on a vitamin D supplement that should help.

Hope this turns things around. Fingers crossed ^_^

Ms Grace

I get a vitamin D injection every 9 or so months, I find it really helps to pick me up. As does the estrogen, of course!!

It's good you are keeping track of these things. It's a good idea to keep your stats at recommended levels.

A low level of non biologically active Vitamin D. Did she check your levels of the active form of vitamin D, known as 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 [1,25(OH)2D3] or calcitriol? This is what matters. Most doctors are unaware of this. :(

Quoteshe actually wants me to increase my dosages of Spiro and Estraidol, since my testosterone levels are apparently still a little too high.

Spiro also blocks T so part of the T that shows up in test is blocked. Blood tests are inaccurate in this context. I do hope the increased E will help with symptoms. :)
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

Oh I see! D: I guess I'll call back tomorrow. I certainly don't want to be paying for something that will do nothing.

Great progress. Here's to getting your spark back!
