I'm new to this site, and joined hoping to gain some semblance of "community" as there's not much around in terms of trans resources/ meetings. I'll also state upfront that I'm very trans-positive - I've had issues on other sites with people really not liking this so, that's why I'm putting it here now.

Let's see, about me... I'm a post-op trans man. I started T last summer, and had top surgery a few months ago (not planning other surgeries). I'm still very much in the grips of medical transition as I'm not even a year on T. I'm in my second year of graduate school, and alternate between obsession and procrastination with that

. If you like art, philosophy, history, literature, or science - talk. to. me.

Most of my "free time" is spent with friends, writing, or painting. I'm not particularly athletic (not at all athletic), and I despise going to the gym, but I know that I need to get back to doing something physical once I'm totally healed from surgery (thinking of taking up martial arts). Entertainment-wise, a few things that I'm particularly a fan of are: music - Led Zeppelin, Lindsey Sterling, and Lana Del Rey; movies - Life of Pi, Beasts of No Nation, and The Fountain; TV - Sherlock, Man vs. Wild, and the L Word. I don't like video games, but I do like some (older) anime shows (like Cowboy Bebop and Kikaider).
So, yeah... that's me. I'll post in the general trans forum about my transition thus far.
Ciao,
Josh
