Electric Daisy Violin by Lindsey Stirling
My life motto: Wake Up and BE Awesome!

"Every minute of your life that you allow someone to dictate your emotions, is a minute of your life you are allowing them to control you." - a dear friend of mine.

Stay true to yourself no matter the consequence, for this is your life, your decision, your trust in which will shape your future. Believe in yourself, if you don't then no one will.

If I wasn't happily married.... ;), it could only be better if you were recording to cassette or reel from a turntable.

Excuse me, I have to go flip over my Patti Smith - Horses album.

In the 'Good old days' I would make 'song list' cassettes for band members LOL  ;D

just finished listening to a B.B.King 1969 Texas Pop Festival set. Led Zeppelin performed after him on the second day, not sure what day this set is from, but if i were part of Led Zep, i would've packed up afterwards and never returned. He made them all look like cheap pretenders. He didn't have to try hard, he just had to play. The Zep tried hard, but still came across as pretenders (on the recording at least). By 1972 they'd be removed from their blues-rock roots and honed enough to truly impress.

Simple Twist Of Fate (Bootleg Series: Live 1975) - Bob Dylan

I love the altered lyrics here, though i'm not sure whether they are better than the original or not. It depends on my mood. Alterations in bold.

They sat together in the park
As the evening sky grew dark,
She looked at him and he felt a spark
tingle to his bones.
'Twas then he felt alone
and wished that he'd gone straight
And watched out for a simple twist of fate.

They walked along by the old canal
A little confused, I remember well
And stopped into a strange hotel
with a neon burnin' bright.
He felt the heat of the night
hit him like a freight train
Moving down with a simple twist of fate.

A saxophone someplace softly played
As she was walkin' on by the arcade.
She heard a melody rise and fade
the sun was coming up,

She dropped a coin into the cup
of a blind man at the gate
And forgot about that simple twist of fate.

He woke up, she was gone
He didn't see nothing but the dawn.
He got out of bed and put his shoes back on,
pushed back the blinds,
Found a note she'd left behind
to which he just could not relate
all about that simple twist of fate

He hears the ticking of the clocks
walks alone through the city blocks
hunts her down by the waterfront docks
where the sailers all roll in.
Maybe he'll spot her once again,
how long must he wait
One more time for a simple twist of fate.

People tell me it's a crime
To know and feel too much for too long a time
She should have caught me in my prime,
She would have stayed with me.
Instead of going off to sea,
and leaving me to meditate
upon that simple twist of fate.
