Strip and give her a hug saying I was just coming in to see you... And see what comes up then ;)

I hope everything went well, with whatever you decided was the best approach for the situation.

Oh my, I probably would have taken all the clothes off, turned on the shower and walked out with a towel on. I guess if there was no shower, or towel, I would have said, "Honey, can you grab me a towel and have you seen my new pack of razor blades? They gotta be here somewhere!" Stashed the clothes somewhere and gone back later.

You handled it nicely.

I've worried about this problem as I'm not out to my landlord and she will sometimes knock on my door.. AND NOT STOP UNTIL I ANSWER! Hasn't happened yet while I am dressed with make-up, but I figure I'll just run and turn on the shower.

Just open the door and tell her this is what you get when you won't take no for an answer.  ;D She might just turn and leave without saying a word.

I've had a couple uncomfortable moments when dressed.  I'm out to my wife (she knows everything and is very supportive).  It's the nephew who lives with us and the occasional person at the door while I'm home working.

Nephew is at work and I'm dressed and he comes home early.  One day I was sitting at my desk in a skirt, hose, heels, and blouse.  I happened to have a sweatshirt on as it was cold.  He walks in, talks to me then heads upstairs.  I had that panic reaction but took a deep breath and went up stairs and changed.  I figured if it sees me he sees me and I'll deal with it then.

Random doorbell ring. I mostly let them wander away.
Happily married CD, out to my wife and select friends.
