I figured it out, I think in a pic of me below.

The image needs to be on another server, preferably one you can delete the image off if you no longer want it displayed. In the text on this system you put without the space [ img]http//--------.jpg[/img]. Photo bucket is a common server but others may be used.

Have I done it correctly this time?

I don't think Dropbox allows hot linking to images to enable them to appear on a third party platform.

People will have to click through. I can't get the link to work with dropbox.

I have dropbox so I was able to see the pic (first link I believe?).  Not sure how to make it show up on this thread.  I usually use imgur.com.

Anyway, I see a beautiful woman :) but just keep in mind that the chin/jawline is a really critical part of how people tend to gender those they interact with, and I can't see that part of your face clearly in this pic.

Also, voice/mannerisms/body/suitability of style seem to really matter when it comes to being viewed as male or female, at least in my experience (unless you don't care about passing, which is a different story).  And of course, those things never show up in a pic.  I'm only saying all this because you asked for honesty, and sometimes when people ask for that, it's because they want to know if they will be safe in places like the women's washroom, etc.

In any case, I think you look great - very feminine, and yes, very womanly in this pic specifically :).  If you're not already on HRT, I think you would do really well :)

thank you for saying that.  I am very sensitive to my appearance.

This is a really normal experience.  Pre-HRT, no matter what I did, I could not see a woman in a mirror (despite others telling me I was doing fine).  I wore all sorts of wigs, put on tons of makeup, and tried on different kinds of clothes, but I still remained trapped in this idea that all I was seeing was a man.

Not sure where you are in your journey, but in case you are early on in this process, I have no doubt that you will at the very least feel better about yourself the more you trust in that voice that might be telling you to live as a woman.  And the hope is that in this process, over time, you'll start trusting that you are projecting a woman to the world - like I say, I don't think you'd have much difficulty doing that, given how beautifully you seem to be presenting yourself right now :)

Hugs :)

PS.  Teri, you may already know this, but on dropbox, what seems to be your legal name is showing up.  If you want anonymity, you may want to try going to www.imgur.com, create an account under a variant of your female name, upload images, and post THOSE links onto this website.

Just don't want you to out yourself accidentally if you're not ready for that!

You had the full URL but for the page. I clicked on one of your image files, when it opened I did a right click copy image URl then put that between the [img] tags instead.
