So, what is it really like to date as a woman?  How different will this experience be from when I dated as a guy?  I have not had the socialization of being a woman in the social scene so I do not know what I might expect in the dating world.  do any of you have any experience in this?  what have your dating experiences been like?

I am afraid of the thought to start all over in my relationships and start new ones with males when I don't know the rules.  Yes.  This is scarey.

It's been a very different experience. As a guy, I know what was expected of me. As woman dating woman, I confess to being baffled about the conventions. There's a lot of typing - people deciding what "type" you are and whether you are their type.

As a woman dating men, it's much more natural. I know how it works. But the men I've met have been not been forthcoming or respectful.

Can't tell you what it takes to be successful. No one has wanted to take it further.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

is it more fun...dating as a woman?  I was always kinda awkward as a boy around girls.

It's way more simple for me at least. I was pretty awkward dating as "the guy." It did take me a while to find a decent guy I had chemistry with. Cis people tend to ask questions I don't like, but I've become much more inured to them over time. I'd say my biggest piece of advice is to be very upfront about being trans. Think of it as a super power that helps you weed out the jerks ;)
