I have been thinking about starting T for some time now and mostly think it would be best and would like to get the ball rolling before starting real college in the fall. However I am having an unrelated sinus surgery in May and wonder if I should just wait until after that to start? The down time is only suppose to be 2 weeks but I don't know if new conflicting hormones could cause problems or just the new changing of bone structure might effect my surgery results? I'm looking for experiences of people having surgery besides top surgery around the same time as starting T. My nasal surgeon is an older guy so I don't really expect him to have the answer I seek.

I would ask the surgeon performing the sinus surgery. If they wanted you to hold off, or stop it would likely be due to bleeding risks. At least that was what my top surgeon requested and why. It seems to be hit or miss though. More and more surgeons aren't required guys to go off T for top surgery. My surgeon for my hysterectomy told me she wanted me to keep taking it to regulate my hormones post-op.

T doesn't change your bone structure, but your fat placement in the face. So I wouldn't imagine anything would be affected by surgery. If you've already started making progress on starting T, you could also ask the doctor who would be prescribing.

I think if you really want T you should just go on ASAP, and worst comes to worst maybe you'll just have to go off T for a couple of weeks for the surgery. I don't think it'll even matter but I'm not a doctor. If you have the patience and T isn't such a priority to you then to be safe you can hold off. You should just ask the surgeon directly because I don't see why it would matter.
