Well last night I went to my first trans group and met a lot of trans people from South Africa. 
It was so awesome and positive. I realised I can go on my knees and thank God for the genetics I have and that I have been given very feminine features. This makes my life easier as I realised I am so privileged to do almost nothing and look female. It is not about passing but everybody would love the ease of it in their lives and I have that.

Then I found out that I can change my name and gender marker even now if I want too and that gives me a new id number, yeah.

So I want to do it before finishing my degree and graduating so that I can get my new name and id on my certificate that is going to make the future so much easier.

Also my recruiter that got me the job is a lgbt supporter and she is super excited to makeup me for events and stuff. She said I must wait 6 months before coming out and make myself indispensable first.

I am wondering what do I want from my ex that my new life can't be better in. Okay maybe finding a partner will be easier but what else?

Revel in the fact that you made a VERY important step

Be proud of yourself for reaching out for help in RL

Be thankful for the experience, of having been with others where you were, you will be and perhaps one of the same to to some other totally scared Sh!%^ss person "In search of..."

Most importantly, try not to feel shame or guilt. You are not alone. Not an aberration. Not something damned to Hell for an eternity
