Test Results Consultation Much Quicker Than Expected - Is This Bad?

I recently had an endocrinologist appointment and visited a couple other departments to test for any intersex conditions. The results of the test would indicate my ability to access HRT and other hormone treatments.

I was told the wait time for my consultation to discuss results would be about 2 months, however I just got a letter to say that the consultation will be 5 weeks after the appointment.

I'm not sure if this means that I've been really lucky, or if there was one test that came back with results that would qualify me as unsuitable for hormones, which would mean the other test results would be unnecessary.

This is possibly just paranoia - but it's really playing on my mind. I have 2 weeks to wait until my phone call, i'm trying to prepare but also not stress too much.

I would try and not focus on it to much. I know that is easier said than done as I had a waiting game for results at one point too. Hang in there. Hugs

More likely paranoia!

If there was an urgent need to see you they would see you in a few days.

5 weeks to 8 weeks. I suspect they have had a cancellation and bumped you.
