Hello everyone. So I just bought my first packer (sailor 1) and I'm extremely pleased with it but after 2 days of wear it seems I am allergic to it :-( .

So I have a question for other guys who have allergies to packers. Since I'm allergic to the cheap cyber skin packers what are the chances that I will also be allergic to the more expensive silicone packers based on your experiences ?

This sounds like a good question to email the companies that make the more expensive packers. I don't know what the difference is in the way everything is made.

In the mean time - are you sure it was the packer that caused your reaction?

I'm sure it's the packer since it's a bright red rash where it touches my skin and it's not from friction since I'm a truck driver and just sitting all day.

I know the Packers are made of two different types of materials.  I was just hoping that other guys with skin sensitivity issues could enlighten me on their experiences.

I haven't had any allergy problems with my silicone packer (pierre). I have had problems with cyberskin - not because I'm allergic to the material itself, but mostly because it picks up dust and who knows what else and I find it difficult to keep clean. And that is what irritates my skin. At any rate, I don't wear it up against my skin anymore because it gives me a rash. I drop it into a jock (which I wash regularly).

Thanks, I was thinking about ordering the archer since it has a lot of good reviews. Hopefully I won't have any problems with that one but if so I guess i can figure out a way to wear it so its not touching my skin.
