I go to college about 100 miles away from home. I've only been on HRT just shy of one month, but I noticed that I'm suddenly starting to miss my family! It's so weird.

I'll buy them food and presents from Philadelphia, the city where my college is in, and drive in Friday afternoon rush hour traffic just to go home for the weekend. I feel like I want to see my close family much more often than I ever have before. I used to go for months without even thinking of going home for the weekend!
And on top of that, I would've never wasted my time sitting in rush hour traffic going 5 miles per hour just to see family before HRT.

Did anyone else experience different behavior like this or is it just me??

Just something interesting that I thought I'd share :)

Yep! Me too. My relationships with people are way more important than they ever were before, and take precedence over pretty much everything else if I can help it. It's going to get me in trouble one of these days :p
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Do they know that you have taken steps to transition?  Maybe you feel like you might lose them and you are trying to enjoy every last minute you can with them?

I have also heard people feel a lot more emotional when they begin HRT.  I haven't noticed this effect just yet, but I have recently doubled my dosage so maybe I will notice it soon.

Do you feel that you are abandoning your family, starting a new life, hence wanting to hold on to that part of your old life more dearly?
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience
