Have you ever found yourself not only questioning your childhood and teenage years into adulthood and being transgender but as a adult getting all of the steps ready and blocking everything else out of your mind.
Then later down the road after steps are made to proceed going "I forgot about my past" or in other words not so much "Forget" but "Lose track" or ignore and not notice until after? I'm only now starting to realize the things iv'e pushed away and me being trans is starting to make sense even things i never connected are connecting. It's strange my brain just shut of the memory's and went forward for a while until looking back and going oh about that! or i should have known.

At least one thing comes to mind every week, sometimes daily and some of them are huge.  I have had two or three that were so big I had to stop what I was doing to comprehend what I had just realized.

Thanks for the response i'm glad to see somebody relates, so if you don't mind me asking when you realize somethings that come to your mind while you're going threw your transition how long is this interruption?
Because for me it tends to last a while an sometimes i stop what i'm doing for weeks or months and it's been a challenge recently.

Yeah, there's an enormous amount about my past and past feelings I consciously decided needed to be thrown into a mental black hole. It's only now I'm realizing again how angry or sad I really was.

It's not that strange. It's your brain protecting itself. I know I do it constantly. I have a difficulty comprehending time. Like I can't remember when stuff happened. Two days or two weeks, I can't tell lol.
