It's difficult for me to imagine being post op?

Sorry if this is a bit explicit but I'm quite curious and a bit worried! I get the urge to be "the man" during sex and it's gotten worse since I started HRT over a year ago and I want to hope this changes with SRS because I'm planning on it late this year or early next. It makes me a bit dysphoric to want to use that equipment. But does the surgery change that feeling?

I'm not sure if I feel like that because I happen to have the equipment or if something is wrong. :/

Thanks!
Trying to take it one day at a time :)

Pre surgery, I was fine with being a top in penetrative sex using my original equipment. I'm about 10 weeks postop and have not engaged in sexual activity, but was feeling at a loss for how to engage sexually for a little while now that I've been reconfigured. I realized that I'll need to learn how to engage with the new parts.

I'll still top people, though this may not include penetration, but we'll see. I am very much excited to bottom. Weird hang ups about genitals can get in the way of having fun.

Thanks a lot Kizzy! I'm just glad that I'm not the only one who feels that way!

I've never minded being the "man" (though being the woman has it's appeal as well.) I'm now a year and a half post-op, and I still think it would be nice to be the man now and then. If I found a steady partner who was into it, I can imagine using hardware that allowed us to try that. I don't think I would have any dysphoria about being a woman taking the man's position.

That's OK. We're woman, but we're allowed to be whatever women we are. If that means enjoying sex in a certain way,  it's our right.

Please don't let anyone tell you it isn't OK to be yourself.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Okay folks. Lets please remember that we need to be respectful as to how everyone transitions. Each transition is different and everyone's needs are different too. Lets remember TOS 9. Thanks
