I'm impressed.  It wasn't long ago that the rule for some police departments regarding TG folks was just beatings and arrests.  This can really help.  Even if all Seattle cops don't become enlightened immediately, it's much better if they all know there's a rational department policy they will be expected to follow.

What will help even more: some TG officers!  How about it, Seattle?

Sounds good, but I'm betting that dark-skinned transwomen will still get hassled just for waiting for a bus in the wrong neighborhood.
