Before you were ready to legally change it, how many times did you change your name. Were you indecisive at first?

Serenation

I just picked a name that everyone had been calling me anyway and stuck with it, maybe a more generic name would have been better as far as stealth goes, but it's been a decade and no regrets.
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

Nope. There are 1000s of names out there to choose from so just went with the first male name I seriously considered after realising I was trans. I think people grow into their names; they tend not to have an epithany moment and think 'this name is 100% perfect and suits my personality'. There's always going to be doubt.
They/them pronouns preferred.

At first I only knew that I didn't want to change my initials. So I went on a baby name website and looked up all the boys names that started with my first and middle initials, and made a list of ones that I liked. Then I made combinations of them and chose the one that sounded best.

I like my first name a lot. I often wonder if I should've chosen a different middle name, but I get a lot of compliments about it whenever people see it on forms so I can't complain too much.

Nah, I knew quite soon what name I would take. I just wanted to have my first name starting with an L since I'd gotten used to it.
