I have shaved my chest, arm pits and legs this weekend and need some advice on a few things please. On my upper chest below my neck i am not getting a close shave (my breast bone area). On my legs the area are knees, back of upper legs and front below my knees there is no fat there just the bone. I am using a 2 blade razor and shave all directions. Thank you

Try Shaving Down your leg at first and i would recamend a razer with five blades they get closer

I suggest a Venus or equivalent 4-5 bladed razor; the ladies razors have better angle for things other than your face in my experience.  Get some good shave gel (Skintimate is the one I find works best).

You may need to apply a bit of pressure to get a very close shave.  You may consider trying one of those hair removal gels for those areas too.

I find that until an area is used to be shaved make sure you apply lots of lotion when you are done.

I shave my legs nearly everyday and I shave upward against the grain to get a close shave, I do this on my arms too and it works well; I don't shave all of my arms, just the shoulder to bicep area... jedi pin up tattoo on my arm looks better when she doesn't have hairy legs :P

Thanks. I do use that kind of shaving creme. What kind of lotion to use afterwards? When i shave my face afterwards i use Noxizima(sp?) and neck cortizone. When i shaved the 1st time this weekend i used cortizone and the 2nd time used cortizone on 1/2 and babyoil on the other 1/2

Any good lotion should work, I've used Bath and Body works lotions with excellent results.  Nice thing there you can get some for guy mode and girl mode and use as applicable :)

I use an epilator. Do have to deal with the occasional ingrown hair,  despite daily exfoliation, but boy does it get it smooth [emoji4]

I still nick my face when I shave! I never really shaved my face before having a goatee most my life. Hair is just above lip and chin anyway , that's it. I just used to use a trimmer on it.
Rest of body not an issue for me.

If you are having trouble after wet shaving try running an electric shaver over the area

Hi there gurls. I am new here and would like to help others with my shaving ideas. I only shave in the shower and first wash with a loofah and lava soap to get dead skin off. Then I use ladies Skintimate shaving cream in the squeeze bottle not the aerosol can as it is a different product and doesn't leave your skin as soft. I can only find Skintimate shave cream at Kmart but it can be bought at other places too. I use it mostly on my face. For the rest of my body and private areas I do a thing called sugar waxing you can find it on u tube and how to make the paste and how to apply it, I love how soft it leaves your skin. When I'm all finished with shaving and waxing I apply some of the Skintimate on my skin and lightly rinse it off in the shower for that extra feminine feel and it has a sexy smell to it too. I will supply some photos when I have some time of both the sugar paste and the Skintimate bottle. Oh and just a side note, the Skintimate bottle has other uses because of it's unique shape.

I have given up on shaving cream and now use hair conditioner- it does glide better and way longer...

Men's razors are for face only. They are tuned for fine work over highly irregular surfaces.

Any other body part needs a women's razor. They are tuned for broad work over fairly regular surfaces.

Venus 5 is fantastic.

Fusion is great for the face, but you didn't ask about that. 😌

One other tip.

If you can afford it, get laser and/or electrolysis around your nipples. Shaving around your nipples is horrible with any sort of razor.
