Kinda off topic but i'm pre-op all of my fat goes toward lower body, thighs, buttocks and face never into my upper body, my arms are like a pair of twigs and my torso is really skinny.
I'm wondering if i have abnormally high estrogen levels?
I did eat lot of junk food when i was younger.

This is usually genetic. Some females have the 'pear' figure (you and I), the hourglass where it's more distributed and some even have a more masculine figure. This should slim out a lot after testosterone as the fat redistributes to where male fat usually does which isn't in the thighs etc.

I have the exact same problem you have. My lower body has so much more fat than the rest of my body. I'm only 56kg but my lower body still feels really fat and my upper body is slim. I don't think it has anything to do with estrogen levels because I had a blood test recently as I will be on T in about a month and they said that my levels are normal and if anything my testosterone was a little above average for a female.

Body shapes are genetic. My fat was evenly distributed  (I had the "perfect hourglass" that my whole family constantly told me they wanted) and now my fat is in the same places as my maternal grandfather  (thighs and stomach) as opposed to my brothers who mostly have my dad's fat patterns (stomach and upper body). My doc thinks I have pcos based on my blood test when I had been off hormones for a year.

One of my old friends carried all her fat in her hips and legs and she was 100% in the normal ranges of estrogen. Ethnicity can also be a factor. Different groups carry their weight differently. You won't know if your estrogen levels are normal without a blood test.

But the good news is that no matter where you carry your fat, T will move it to typical male locations. I've been back on T since January and my fat is moving around like crazy.

Agree with Ayden's assessment. My body shape pre-everything was almost identical to most of the women on my dad's side of the family. Fat redistribution on T tends to be a longer term effect, but I did notice around my 1 year mark that my thighs and hips had thinned out. Now whenever I put on a few pounds, it's all in the stomach area.

Yeah, I had the same experience as the guys above, only because I started working out when I started T and am naturally a hard gainer (it's easy as pie for me to lose weight, hard for me to gain it), my fat redistribution started really quickly.  It's still not 100% male but I was a pear before with twig arms and now I am broad shoulders and large arms (relative to before not relative to most guys!) and my butt and hips have majorly slimmed down.  God bless T and exercise.
