Hi all. I was looking for the introductions forum and couldn't find it for some reason. Don't know why, it's easy enough to find.

Anyway, I'm Jayne, a mtf pre everything transsexual from Sydney, Australia. This is my second time here. I previously was on here with the same username, "jayne01", but I deleted my account a couple of months ago because I thought at the time that if I distanced myself from all things "trans" I would find a way to beat my dysphoria. I know it is not something to "beat". I now accept that I am transgender and where the road leads from here, who knows? I just joined Susan's again yesterday and thought I should re introduce myself.

Learning to accept myself for who I am has been an extremely difficult process for me. It involved huge amounts of guilt, shame, confusion, self hatred, the list goes on and on. Finding a way to let go of some of those negative feelings has not been easy. The self hatred and shame have now mostly gone but the guilt still remains. However, I have been seeing things more clearly and I can see that I am in fact transgender, and I am ok with that. My wife has supported me from the moment I first told her that I am questioning my gender. Without her support, I believe I wouldn't be here today.

I hope I can start offering other people some help here the way many of you have already helped me.
