Talk about Palm Sunday and Easter?

I greatly enjoyed our Palm Sunday service this morning. We all were given palm fronds to throw in the aisle to represent when Jesus rode to Jerusalem. My grandmother grew up Methodist and she said when she was a child she felt jealous because the apostolic churches had palm fronds. I got a Palm branch cross that someone made for us and I've put it in a book to dry out and will use it as a book mark. I'll have to laminated it. For the record I am an Episcopalian. I may miss the Easter service because my family wants to do something and I normally go to my own church by myself.  :(

I was grateful that it was a choice in my church whether to give up something for lent. They never obligate us to do any more than we can or want to do. We embrace diversity.

What did your church do for Palm Sunday? Are you excited about Easter?

I was raised Catholic , but I don't participate anymore in the services because I have limited mobility and it's just too hard for me. Jesus is my Lord and my love for God gets stronger every day. I use the New Testament as my church and source of prayer and inspiration. I usually will watch the Easter and Christmas services from Rome on the internet.

I had to work today sadly, so I'm not sure what our church did, if they did anything at all.  However, I am excited for Easter since my workplace is closed on that day.  Our church kids are supposed to be doing a skit.  That's about it, I think.

I am sorry to hear that, Stephanie. God will love you anywhere you are. I like the New Testament better too because it's more about Jesus and I am so bored by the Old Testament. My Priest said it was fine to only choose parts of the bible you like because we're not slaves and there is no "must". God bless you Stephanie. I will pray for you.

It's off topic, but may I ask what you do for work?

I operate a bungee jump machine.

Sounds like an interesting job to me. I've actually never tried one of those.

Many people seem to like jumping around here  I can't say I enjoy the job, but it nets me the money I need.

Is the job easy? Do you set up the equipment?
