After a month now the swollenness has gotten a lot less, except the inner lips. These are still very poffy.. if that is even the correct word x_x. They are still very swollen. Does anyone know how long it takes that most of the swollen has gone away?

It depends.
For some people it takes a few months.

One thing some surgeons recommend is bromelain as nutrition supplement.
Its available as supplement or its included in fresh pineapple (I'd recommend organic if possible).
Just talk it through with your surgeon.

It depends on your body. I was VERY swollen - it impressed the nurses - and it took me close to two years to see it *all* disappear. Brassard said a year was typical.

Most of my swelling was in pubic area.  At the six month mark all swelling disappeared.  Have not seen additional reduction since.   Nor can I see how further reduction would be possible.

.. Wow, that long? I hoped I would be able to see what is under those damn huge lips in a certain time.. didn't expect half a year to a year x_x.

Well, that's how long it can take to have *all* the swelling disappear. It certainly could reduce enough to give you a look much sooner than that; if not, you probably will be much more confident about spreading them apart yourself if you have to, once things are more healed up. I was comfortable poking around in there as firmly as I would with a natal vagina by about 3 months.

I heard people say it takes up to a year to completely heal from a nose job.  This is a whole vagina!  :P

My nose job took about a year for the swelling to completely clear out and it took months before I could pee sitting up without spraying the the wall in front of me. Because my surgery wasn't as realistic as your, most of the external swelling went down faster but it the internal swelling was slow to leave.
