It went quick and great! I apparently have high pain tolerance too.

The nurse told me about 20% of my hairs should fall out in about 5~10 days. I noticed I still obviously had scruffy rough stubble on my face, especially my chin where it usually gets the most rugged. But like, the hairs sorta seemed 'dead' like they were being poked out but not fully loose.

It's only the first day since the session so what should I expect between now and next month? I'm just really excited to see the first hairs fall out!

Don't know if I'm allowed to bump my own thread here... but it's been about nine days, and my hair seems to be growing back much more slowly now! It takes about 2 whole days for the stubble to kick back in.

Just shaved earlier too, and it was a really gentle easy shave. I honestly feel like I'm 100% smooth now!

Just had my 4th laser session on Friday, from the previous 3 I usually find that initially after the laser you will get a few hairs that go dark and thicker and may come out when washing your face. Then its usually about 10/14 days for me and then all of a sudden will find the face wipe full of tiny little hairs one day. Again the hairs that are coming out tend to look thicker and darker in my experience and you should get smooth areas on your face.

From what I understand hair cycle regrowth is about every 6/8 weeks so I have opted to leave this time between sessions so that each treatment is most effective and keeps the cost down. You will find that your face goes smooth and then you hit a new hair cycle which can feel disappointing as hair grows back but it is from a different follicle. So basically each time you have laser its kills most of the hairs from that cycle which is why you need a number of treatments so that there are no new cycles of hair growth left.

The treatments work really well over my face so far but have found that there are two stubborn patches one either side of chin so had a higher setting on these areas in this last treatment. Good to hear you are finding the pain bearable i usually find it ok until they get to the lip area then my eyes start watering.

how long does a session of laser take?
Do they cover the whole face? (upper lip, chin, cheeks, neck)?
