Hi there,

I'm Sue, a graymuzzle androgyne. (I'm nearly 60, so more than my muzzle is gray  :D)

I'm female-bodied, but get Sir'd a lot 'cause I live in that gray area in between the genders. I don't at all mind being called Sir; I probably dislike Ma'am more! But what I mind is the embarrassment and discomfort of the other person when they realize their "mistake." Our language needs a nice non-gendered label for each other.

This is such a friendly place. I look forward to getting to know people.

Hi Sue!

Why are you Dog Spirit?
I like dogs
Crossdressed as small child. Told parents, then hid it.
1980s-2010s Alternately "out" to varying degrees and/or outright denial and man-faking
2015 Surrendered/allowed my she-self to show more outwardly. Changes begin.
Currently working with counselor. No HRT or surgeries yet.

Welcome Sue. Are you into the furry scene by any chance?

DogSpirit

Thank you for the welcome!

I'm DogSpirit because I feel a connection with dogs-- I mean, who doesn't? But I guess the best handle on it would be to say that it's in the otherkin sort of way-- that maybe I was canine in a previous life and didn't totally forget. I feel pretty amateurish on the people side of things ;)

I love furries. I couldn't say I'm into the scene. I'm just to busy, unfortunately, to be part of any particular scene. Once in a while I grab some minutes for myself and enjoy visiting with good folks.

Which is what brings me here!

Thank you, Cindi! Yes, it's as though dogs and people were made for each other!
