I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I don't know either but apparently I've always laughed and sneezed "like a girl" and have often been teased about it

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Rather than people saying I have a female way of sneezing ect. They usually say that I have a really polite way of sneezing. I am not saying that all males do this but I have noticed that the guys around me are really loud about their body motions. Like clearing their throats, it is almost offensive hearing them hucking their guts up. Eww.

Keep pitch high, be gentle, be elegant.

For anyone wanting the Alpha Male opposite advice, prolong as much as possible ,sound gutteral like a wounded T-REX then spit gunk on the ground or wipe it on a wall. Try to channel your inner slimer from ghost busters  :D
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

My laugh is sort of like a giggle. My sneeze, I try to keep voice out of it. It ends up sounding like an extended hiss.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Hi Blossom.  In our voice pitch we use the resonance in our head cavity and release the sound from the front of our mouth. This way we don't strain to create a high pitch and sound like Mickey mouse. We do not let our voice drop to the diaphragm below the throat. This same principal is used for a cough or sneeze we don't let the sound drops below our throat or it will sound guttural, keep it shallow. Have you looked at some voice tutorials on the internet?
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

Hi again Warlockmaker :) I have tried Andrea James' voice materials, but didn't have much success. I have looked into telephone voice training and have found that Andrea James does it and so does a website called Moorea Music. I've not tried the telephone training yet.

Does throat clearing and coughing sound different after VFS?

Most "cute" sneezes are high-pitched and kind of sound like the person sneezing is actually saying "achoo". Try saying "pikachu" in a cute voice and replicate the last syllable when you sneeze.

To be honest I think you may be over thinking things. I have women I work with who sound like a foghorn when they sneeze and men who barely give a splutter.

Bit like laughing, I have one woman who I'm sure I can hear laughing from half a mile a way.
