"One 43-year-old multi-millionaire announced that she was transgender during a television interview. Savannah Jackson (formerly Daniel Kertchera) is a consultant for the financial industry running the Sydney-based company Trading Pursuits.

"It's surreal that it's here. Like it's a dream, it's a thought, it's a hope and a wish that you have every single day of your life. And then, to actually be here in this moment now... it's just like every Christmas all come at once,' she said in an Australian interview program. "I felt like a ghost. I have all these memories of growing up internally as a girl, but no one saw me as a girl.""

Never heard of them before, but good luck to her!

I love high profile competent people coming out as trans. Each one goes a little way toward changing people's opinion of us.

But I still long for the day when a transgender person being competent and successful no longer merits a headline.

People will discredit her because she is wealthy and they see being trans as a ~fashionable luxury

I feel so trendy now lol
Of course I'm envious of their ability to afford any surgical and cosmetic option available, but yea to the step towards transgender normalcy
