Hi everybody,

having spent some time with my therapist, I have now made the decision to start my transition and will go full time soon. It is amazing how joyful such a decision can be, even though many difficulties lie ahead and I haven't even actually started yet.  :)

I have come out to my family and close friends, but as I live in a small town in Germany where everybody knows what everybody else is doing I think I will need to talk to the neighbours as well.

I think it will be helpful to talk to them personally and then leave some flyer/brochure/similar that jots down the main facts and some references to further reading. Then, if they want to, they can look things up themselves once they have recovered from the shock (if any).

what do you all think of this idea? and do you know of any good such one page infosheets? (preferably in german  ;))

Lots of love,

Amelie
