Thank You @Sebby Michelango & @KathyLauren

Thank You for the advise, on the body and physical features... Yeah I'm one of those unfortunate people that HRT did react that much to.

The one side of my hair being short was just an experiment, I plan to grow it back out.

How long has you been on HRT? I've heard estrogen would make you appear rounder, give you more breasts and curves. It would also soften the skin and the facial features. Body shape is a important thing for passing, but in my opinion the face is even more important. I associates soft round faces with a bit eyelashes, small nose and small ears with femininity.

More squareness and rough face=Masculine
Soft face with small features=Feminine
HRT= Softness

I've also heard it may take several years  on HRT before bigger changes. Estrogen is weaker than testosterone, therefor it often takes longer time before it reacts. As long you have been under 2 years on HRT, you don't need to worry. But if you doesn't notice any big changes after 5 years at HRT, it's a sign you would not change more at HRT I believe. Then I have no advice. But I've heard if people go up in weight, they would get bigger boobs. I'm not sure that's true.

Hi, I have been on HRT for 18 months. So not a full 2 years yet. Half of which was Pill based, then Patch based and I am switching to Injections this upcoming Month to see if that can provide any benefits.

I agree on the face regards, my body I am okay and content with. Yes I wouldn't mind more hips, but on the whole I am fine. If/When I can afford FFS I plan to get FFS. Which might be some time as I have the only Job based income in my house, my SO is disabled and gets a small check from SSI Dis.

Yeah weight would help, I've been working on that but I'm one of those people that just can't gain weight. Tried everything, even went to like 3-4K calories a day for a few months. Not much change except a 5-7lb float here and there.

I wish you good luck at your journey. :) I really hope you finds good surgeon, since you're considering FFS. Maybe you can start a YouTube channel and get many watchers. If you get popular enough at YouTube, you can start a Fund me to make extra money to the FFS. Just a advice. I've heard there are many good surgeons, but I can't their names.

I've been on HRT for 9 months now. Usually, seeing my reflection in the mirror really messes with my head, but this is the first pic I've ever taken where I've been able to glimpse the real me.  Early days, but exciting ones!

You're not passing 100% yet. Your brow bridge and your nose makes passing harder for you. It's more masculine than rest of your face. Your head shape is fine and you don't need to worry about that. I can see your skin has soften as well at HRT. My best advice for passing better is doing your eyebrows. Straight eyebrows make you appear more masculine than arch one.

It's been awhile since I have posted in this thread. I'm now at almost 7 months HRT. Am I passing in these pictures?

...

For comparison, here's me at the very beginning of hormones:

Started HRT on September 1st, 2015.

Thank you for your honest feedback, Sebby, it's really appreciated. At 49, I'm not expecting HRT to have a profound effect on my face, so surgery is likely at some point.

Your body begin to be more feminine and that's good. But you aren't 100% passing in the face. From long distance, it's easier for you to pass than closer distance. At picture 1 you look convincing enough to pass. But at the other picture you has some revealing features. Example your nose and forehead has something masculinity in it. It's not so easy to be exactly, because it's not easy to put word in it. I just find some features more masculine than others without knowing why. Maybe because I see some features more often at men and other features more often at women. I don't know.

Not just passing, Rachel, but beautiful!

And, Sebby, I respectfully disagree, few, if any, women have absolutely no masculine features or visa versa.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Well on the second pictures she might have more masculine features but for the first and fourth one she look like an average women to me.

Not everyone get this "dolly female shape" but you certainly look female in red on the fourth picture :) I often see women with large/long forehead like your.

Try to keep more hair on both side Rachel, it will fade your jaw a bit and let your beautiful smile shine even more :)

Well not mine, seem like my blue eyes really show the moisture level in there xD

Don't give up, it will be long one day. Otherwise if you don't mind being redhead I can actually share :)

You passed much better with that long hair (wig). But it's good you're trying to grow your own hair. Your bang starts to look fine. The hair at the side would be nice, when they growth longer. I recommend you having the bang as you have it now, but with long hair at the side. Maybe you can add some volume in it, so it stays feminine.

Hoho don't I know it. Took me 3 years to get upper waist length hair. Just treat it well and get ttrims and tidy ups every couple months or so and you should be good. :)

The overall impression is def very feminine imo.
Imo you look gorgeous.

There may be some features which some people might consider masculine as pointed out on the other page.
It makes for a very attractive look imo.
Look at Sandra Bullock. She is also said to have a few unusual features which can be very attractive.

*hugs*
