I only play on the Nintendo Ds for now, not the 3DS yet. In general when starting a new video game and the instructions aren't clear to you do you get frustrated while getting over a learning curve and feel like you're dumb?

I have trouble finding the right buttons to push for what action because it isn't always self exclamatory.

When instructions aren't clear, please tell me. How is it humanly possible not get fustrated while getting over the learning curve and feel dumb?!
