On Transgender Day of Visibility, there is a meeting Thursday night at the Rush Center between transgender people, the Atlanta Police Department and city officials. The purpose is to discuss past transgender interaction with the APD which has not always been pleasant to say the least. The Rush Center is located at 1530 N. DeKalb Avenue, Atlanta and the meeting starts at 6PM.
