I'm so confused. I'm non-binary on the masculine side. Because of my faith I've decided not to transition and to continue going by female pronouns. But I really don't like it. I thought I'd like male pronouns better because I'm trans,  but I don't like that either. I'm starting to really like gender neutral pronouns like they/them and e/eir. But Can I? Is that okay? I know as a Christian I have to honor myself as the female he made me to be physically. So I don't know if using neutral pronouns would be dishonoring? I really need help with this.

I'm not a Christian but there are a few Christians on here which I'm sure would agree with me when I say I'm sure God wouldn't want you to be miserable living as the wrong gender. If God doesn't make mistakes does that mean we shouldn't fix birth defects like cleft lips? He probably made you trans in order to educate others on what it's like being trans and to help other trans people.
As for pronouns I'm sure he wouldn't mind what pronouns you should use. Pronouns are a man made concept and the Bible was originally written in Latin or a middle eastern language were the pronouns for males and females would be different than the ones we use in English; yet we don't use those.
I hope you're not offended by what I've said. It's great you have something to count on and which gives you strrngth; wish I had something like that.
They/them pronouns preferred.

You didn't offend me at all, thank you. It's really hard to figure out exactly where he stands on this because there are scriptures about not wanting or becoming the other sex. Nothing about if you were born with a different gender. But I'd be using neutral pronouns, so I'm not sure if that counts or not.

There's the bible verse from Mathew 19:12 "For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it."
And another from Mathew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"
And also this from Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
So in some parts of the bible it seems to be ok if you're trans. You're just being yourself after all. Hope this helps.

We also use a lot of gender neutral language everyday without realising. For example; "they're at the bar", "they will be with you shortly", "I think you'll find them over there". So I doubt God will mind :)

I'm one of those Christians that Elis mentioned :)

I believe in God and I believe that everything happens for a reason. God made me transgender for a reason, as He doesn't make mistakes. My assumption would be so that I would have these experiences and in turn be able to help others as they go through the same things. And if I am wrong? That's fine - I will have dedicated my life to supporting and helping others, and IMO that's what's most important in the time that I have on earth and what Christ wanted from all of us.

I don't believe that God would make transgender people but not allow us to pursue options that would reduce or end our suffering. I don't believe that it is scripturally wrong to use different pronouns, to transition socially, or to change your body through hormones and surgery. God loves you. God wants you to be happy and grow in this life. So you should be using pronouns that make you happy.

Okay... I'm gonna have to think about that.

Thank you all for your help. I think I'm gonna start off small and ask my online friends to use neutral terms and see how I like it. Not sure if I like they/them or e/eir terms better.
