When you guys go to the urinal do you just pull your STP out of your fly like a cis guy would? The idea of this makes me nervous.

If it makes you nervous, you could go in a stall. Plenty of guys do.

I have to pull the shaft of my stp over my underwear and keep my shirt kind of over it. I haven't figured out how to do it without my hands either. Normally other guys aren't looking anyways

You know I've kinda wondered this too. If you don't have the stp packer how do you go about carrying it all day and taking it out to use it? Does no one really notice a clear tube coming out of your pants?

I always stick with the stall when I use a public restroom, since I feel like I haven't mastered my STP well enough to even try to use a urinal.

I found out that pulling it through the right 'leg' of my boxerbriefs shows a lot less packer (as in, only the shaft is showing) and it makes peeing a lot easier as well. Positioning with my right hand and holding the underwear to the side with my left. It's not weird to open your button as well, lot of guys do that. Just using the fly makes positioning the stp a lot harder.

I've used this for both pack and pee models as simple plastic stp's but only use the plastic ones in a stall or outdoors. Packers at a urinal are fine.

Is it easier because you are right handed or because it's just easier?

Thank you so much for your replies!! I really want to use the urinal so I think I'll just practice at home for a while until I'm ready.

Because it's easier. But yes, if I'd be lefthanded I can imagine I'd pull it through the left side instead of the right

If you try to pee over the top, it means you have to pull the top down. Because of gravity, you have to pull it lower than your crotch because the stp needs a straight line from your crotch down to whatever you're aiming at. The elastic band makes it more fiddely and if you 'loosen your grip' it will automatically pull itself upward, causing your stp to backflow (again, because of gravity).

Ofcourse it's just personal preference, but I highly recommend trying it and know a few guys who've mastered stping who couldn't do it before.

And if someone would be glancing over to your crotch, they can only see the shaft. So packer edges or even harnesses are invisible.

Most cis guys unzip, and pull themselves over the elastic of their underwear. I would imagine the teeth of a zipper could feel really uncomfortable and there's plenty of guys out there that have had zipper incidents before.
