From what my friends have told me, teenage girls are constantly insecure about their boobs. Bullying and harassment are the usual culprits whether or not they're big or small or lopsided or slightly different or their areole sizes or colors seem odd to them. It's just as much a focus as some guys with their peni? Penises?
So, the usual is awkward and wanting to get it over with for first bras or first bra-fittings. That being said, I felt a lot more comfortable with myself when I had the gender aligned supportive undergarments. I think it's somewhat of a rite of passage for trans women, we all go through it and have all sorts of mixed feelings during the ride.
