I should be more careful

I was mowing lawns at work this weekend. There is an area The council body is doing storm water improvements on that is right by our boundary. While weed eating I stepped around the safety barrier and proceeded to make things tidy. When I went to exit I missed a step and lost my grip on the fence and fell 2m onto a concrete box culvert.
Suffice to say a wrenched shoulder, torn cartilage between my left ribs and even worse needing to front up tomorrow at work leading health and safety meetings.
I am sooo sore but yet still enjoyed putting pink tights on a dress and my Guess jandles. In pain I still love being who I am.
I love the feeling of a dress on me more for satisfying my mind than my skin.
I spent the morning in my nighty and silk dressing gown while watching the masters golf until 10.30NZ time.
I love it when dressed but today was not that into it due to the discomfort.
What are your moments in time that you have still dressed while being compromised?

So glad you are OK!

Just don't look at my posts on microwaves, mops, firemen and policemen. :embarrassed:

Oh why did I say that!

Tried that!

" Did I forget to tell?

They sent out female lifesavers.

They got me ashore and I asked for a breathing tube.

When they asked what that was I said 'What he has in his budgie smugglers'

I got banned from the beach - no sense of humour, no concern. Hmmm."

Hi Cindy,
I think your sense of humour is fantastic.

Has your mop been let out early on good behaviour yet? :D

Cheers

Sue

I find that when I'm sick I don't feel like getting as dressed up, but I still feel like being comfortable which for me is nightie or skirt and hosiery while curled upon the couch.

My wife have taken part in some relay races and been sore after the event.  Feet, legs, etc.  Its a event over 36 hours where you get very little sleep.  I find myself wanting some good strong support style hosiery for recovery for a couple days after the event. (this will be our 5th year doing it)
Happily married CD, out to my wife and select friends.
