Ive had several good days in a row... I was getting a happy day, then a sad day... then I had 3 happy days in a row... although none had dysphoria. Here today I am getting hammered... not with sadness so much, but I look like a man... yesterday I felt it creeping in and now thats all I can see... I have erections, balls are sticking out and proud and I look manly.... dont know why >:(

Just try to hang in there. The first few weeks will be quite rough as you adjust to the new hormones entering your body. Your brain is probably a little out of whack right now.

You'll be perfectly fine! You just started this amazing journey and everything will change for the better. It just takes time, over the course of a few years you will see just how good hrt is. Have a little patience and enjoy being on this journey. You'll be there before you know it and take time to celebrate the fact that you're finally living the dream :)

Rita - you've just started on this journey dear. What you are going through is not unusual - my almost dead libido came roaring back to life for a short while when I began taking a transitioning dose of HRT. I saw "him" off and on in the mirror for almost a year. Needless to say that none of this was very encouraging at the time.

Now 2.5 years later I have about "0" libido and I see the real me in the mirror even without makeup. "He" is gone for good.

My opinion is that you are on track.

Hang in there girl. It will get better and things will even out. It takes time for everything to adjust. ❤️

Thanks to everyone... I feel much better this morning. I took my first dose of Spiro around 9 am.

Im not so interested in getting "there".... Im happy to just ride the train for a while... it seems pretty cozy here

Im really not in a hurry for anything. I hope it works slow... Im not fully out and dont plan on being anytime soon. Im hoping to get through this summer without explaining anything, like boobs...

I'm glad you're feeling better today.

Even now, I still have my moments that but thankfully they're fleeting at best and I know how to deal with them a lot better than I used to.

It has gotten immeasurably better and I'm sure days like that will decrease for you too as time goes on.
