I want to know what it would take from a surgery, legal, clothing, everything stand point to transition

I want FFS, adams apple removed, breast implants (maybe), wigs (I have no hair), monthly HRT, hair removal

Here is what I have for math

FFS -                      25-30k
Adams Apple shaved    5 k
Voice surgery -           5 k  (not sure I'll do this)
Hair removal -             6k
Breast Implants -         8k
Legal Name Change      1k
D.L. Sex ID change    ?  (I know I can change my Sex [m,f] on my Drivers License for almost nothing where I live)
SRS                           NA (not going to do it at this time)
-------------------------
                             50-55k dollars

Then...re-occuring

Wigs           = 200*6 =  ~1250 (every two months new wig)
HRT            = 30*12 =    ~300
Makeup       = 120 *12 =  ~250
Clothes/Shoes            = ~1250  (per year...just to start)
-----------------------------------------
                                    ~ 3000

That sound about right? what am I missing?

it be a lot cheaper if you just let estrogen do its job and go to a discount store for clothes

It's kind of subjective. I didn't do FFS, adams apple, voice surgery, breast implants. I also don't use wigs.

Hair removal depends on where you go, what kind you get, and how hairy you are.

I paid $3000 to laser my whole face. I had a baby face, so there wasn't much to remove.
I'm paying another $3000 for electrolysis of some body hair and to clean up some facial stragglers.
My HRT is around $20/month
My legal name change cost $85

I spend considerably more on clothing than on makeup. I'd estimate my makeup to be around $15/month. I easily drop a few hundred on clothing when I go, which is about once every couple months. A single pair of women's jeans can end up costing close to $100 if you don't look for the sales. I've seen extremely short jeans shorts that look like they were torn and have the bottoms of the pockets exposed, that cost over $130.

- FFS depends.
since you decide to do wigs you could look for real hair wigs, some have a ventilation underneath.
Imo its not necessary to have one every two months.
You could look up pictures of Isley Reust and have the wig cut this way to exactly cover brows and forehead.
This is a part of what FFS changes so it may be unnecessary.
The face can change with hrt. Maybe afterwards only a rhinoplasty is necessary, or nothing at all.

-clothes well things are supposed to change so I'd start with second hand clothes.

-you could try voice training instead of voice surgery, there are threads on this.

-there are natural ways of breast enlargement. You could try those first.

I would look at the list a bit different. FFS and breast should be delayed until you have had 2-3 year of HRT because they may not be required. Voice alone cost me 7k without transportation but the Adams apple could be taken care of at the same time for much less if you go to Dr Haben. I wouldn't be surprised if HRT runs you 2-3 time as much because you have doctors visits that you may not be counting.

Don't forget insurance, and regular biannual blood work. My insurance was about 2k/year last time I got it. And the blood work is about $200 each time for me.
I don't think I could keep my clothes budget to only $1250, I sort of figure when you start you go through a lot of experimentation finding your style and what's most flattering anyway. You may want to double this budget.

FFS -- This will depend on procedures and the doctor (prices vary considerably), but it can get quite expensive.

Voice surgery -- I thought this was more expensive than your price, but I could be wrong. I am still thinking about it, but I keep hearing that it doesn't produce great results.

Hair removal -- This will depend on how much hair you have, where you go, and how much you have removed. I paid $399 for a Groupon for 6 Laser Sessions, but that didnt completely eliminate all of the hair. It helped though. For comparison, I went down to Ideal Image to inquire about having some additional Laser since they have once nearby and they were beyond ridiculous - as in more than the cost of SRS ($20,000) for Full Body.

Legal Name Change -- Mine worked out about that. It was $400 to file + $55-70 for the background check and prints, but there was also the cost of taking time off work to go to court, gas back and forth to the courthouse/SSA/DMV/etc..., and the $2 here, $20 there charges for copies of documents, new licenses, etc...

D.L. Sex ID change -- This shouldn't cost very much. My doctor charged a modest fee ($25 or something like that) to write the letter and I had to pay I think about $35 for new licenses/permits. All in all, it was under $100 not counting the cost of a new passport as mine was expiring this year anyways.

SRS -- $15,000 to $21,000 + 2 months salary in order to recover

Wigs -- Your own hair should grow out if you let it. I went through 2, which cost maybe $100-200/each before my hair had grown out enough I no longer needed a wig. Note that I was not full-time at the time, so I was only using them on weekends.

HRT -- This will depend on insurance. I paid about $90 for therapy, $165 in copays for the HRT doctor, about $450 for lab tests, and about $250 for hormones over the course of a year. That works out to close to $1,000. A good chunk of that was paid with pre-tax dollars so that did save me some money. This will vary by insurance. If you have really good insurance, it might cost a lot less and had I used mail order from the beginning I probably would have saved $180 on the cost of my hormones.

Makeup -- This can get expensive if you buy from places like Sephora or Ulta rather than drug store brands. I now use Maybelline and Covergirl, which is not super cheap, but a lot cheaper than Kat Von D, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, and other such brands that Sephora and Ulta push.

Clothes/Shoes -- I have a large cache of clothes I collected from 1995-2005, but unfortunately I am not the same size as I was then (MS, HS, and College) so I had to buy a lot of new clothes. I didn't keep track, but it may have been (most likely was) over $1,000.
