Hey yall, came out fully to my gf last week. Guess i knew what the results were gonna be...shes devastated and i cant really blame her. Nice thing is she seems to understand and has been helping me with makeup; she cares - but deep down im not sure if itll work with her unfortunately. On a side note, i somehow drew the short straw and my parents are staying at my house for a few days while visiting and its driving me nuts to not just tell them as well...i think it would at least drive them out of my house, lol.

lol @ coming out to your parents do drive them away... but seriously, that's an awful idea.  Wait 'til you're ready to handle that conversation.

I know, just kidding. Gotta be the right time some time soon to tell them and my brother n sister...

Also... don't give up on your girlfriend too soon.  She might surprise you.  You might surprise you, too.  Transition takes some time, and she might grow to accept / appreciate the differences; you might be satisfied with less transition than you're thinking about now.

You never know how it will work out.  I came out to my fiancee on a Thanksgiving weekend before we were supposed to be married the following June.  I figured she would call the wedding off.  This June we will celebrate our 46th anniversary.

Now that is an amazing feat 46 years after. Fingers crossed I live long enough to say that some day.

As for the gf it's a lot for her to take in not just for your change but for her to consider herself a lesbian. Just as we were programed to act and feel like we were "supposed" to she will have have a lot to think about.
