Hi members,

I would have written this Saturday afternoon had it not been for the fact that I was suffering from sheer exhaustion from my flight home to the UK the night before.

When you get to my age, recovery is not quite so easy.

When I arrived in Marbella on March 31st, I was very tired and stressed out with all the bad surgery that I had received down the years and other matters that I will not bore you with.

I could not even raise my legs without lifting them with my hands from below. So I was going to cancel the surgery and rebook later in the year with all the problems and expense that I and Facial Team would have incurred.

However I was right in spending a few days ( five in all ) at the studio apartment to relax in that I shared with my friend who had her facelift and terrible top lip fat removal with Facial Team's Dr Bellinga, a few days earlier.

So as soon as I arrived at Jenny's Nest on the day before surgery, I was just about ready to face the surgery although I broke down emotionally when I arrived so both Jenny and her wonderful assistant Nicola gave me a big hug and made me feel more reassured and comfortable.

From then on the care and compassion that I received from the two of them while staying there was wonderful and I shall always be very grateful to them.

For all those that believe that Jenny is making a lot of money out of this service, then think again. There is no hidden Ferrari in the garage and the project is just about sustainable with all the costs of running this service to Facial Team's patients.

Personally I feel that her charges are very reasonable as it is like staying in a millionaire's home.

I desperately needed their compassionate care and attention and I received it.

I enjoyed the banter and laughter too with the other patients staying there and one or two of them I will be remaining in contact with.

So if you are having surgery with Facial Team, I highly suggest that you stay at 'Jenny's Nest'.

Congratulations for the surgery and i wish a peacefull recovery .
I recovered alone once and it was so hard , depressing , i am glad Jenny offers a nice emvironment for the patients .

Yes it's awesome there and the time ( as many other FT patients before me have said ) goes by way too fast but I would say that all of us there really connected and many will be friends for life ...

Cannot believe that a month ago (April 6th), I had my surgery and then went back to Jenny's Nest for recuperation.

The ten days that I was there with the other patients and having Jenny and Nicola looking after us all was really great and I miss the two of them very much.

Anyway Jenny is back in the UK in July when FT come over to see new patients and follow-up girls like myself.

These trips to places like Ronda, Puerto Banus and Marbella Old Town ( often for dinner) are wonderful and I am really missing them. Still I am going back in November and cannot wait.

After my acupuncture on Sunday April 10th, I strolled around the gardens at 'Jenny's Nest'.

It's a beautiful villa and it'a a great place to relax at after surgery.

I am looking forward very much to seeing Jenny and Nicola once again in mid July when I go for my check up with Dr Simon and Dr Bellinga.

Thank you both for taking such good care of me in your beautiful and relaxing villa ... 

I really enjoyed meting up with Jenny and Nicola again this July, despite the heat which made me feel exhausted all the time, when I went down to Marbella for a 3 month check-up with Facial Team's surgeons.

They both always makes me feel very welcome.

She told me that there have been quite a lot of changes to the service they offer to patients which I feel that I should mention for the benefit of future patients.

The villa is now air conditioned ( essential in mid summer ) and she also offers a reduced cost "extended stay" package where other feminising procedures are performed following FFS such as Breast augmentation.

She also offers a postoperative care regime for patients who are staying at a hotel rather than at the Nest.

Patients are collected from the hotel and taken to the Nest by taxi on the 2nd and 4th day after release from hospital for two sessions of treatments and relaxation, then taken back to the hotel.

These services include incision cleaning, hair washing, betadine treatment, hair transplant maintenance and care, liaison with the hospital regarding any observations relating to the recovery and addressing any concerns.

Also these non resident patients get a chance to chat to resident patients about transitional issues, receive emotional support, simply relax by the pool and treatment area over a cup of tea or coffee with social exchange.

She also offers additional services at the Nest for all patients as diverse as pedicure and manicure treatments, voice feminisation and group practice sessions, hair systems and hair pieces, post op make-up, concealers and so on.

If you contact Jenny via her website, I am sure that she will provide you with more information on these and other additional services. 

I look forward to seeing them again in October when I go down for another check-up.
