I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by since my FFS on July 2nd, 2014 in Argentina. Before and just after my surgery, I did post some messages on my progress. But I wanted to provide everyone an update (I couldn't remember my user name and/or password, so I had to re-register). I had just about every FFS procedure performed, including Type-III forehead, nose, chin, face lift, etc. Last week, I turned 56 years old, and I easily pass for 40. Send me an email, and I'll share with you my before, after pics, and a recent one.
Bottom line: I can go anywhere, talk with anyone, and no one gives me a 2nd look...meaning: I blend in just fine (sometimes I blend in too good, if you know what I mean!). This was the best $12k I have ever spent. After surgery, I did have a minor infection in my mouth, after I returned home in Minnesota. But my doctor took care of that. I healed very quickly. Amanda was extremely attentive -- before, during and after my surgery. She is transgender too, so I found her first-hand experience and advice extremely valuable. She knows what you are trying to achieve, and she can convey this nicely to Dr. Rossi. Speaking of Dr. Rossi...I practically kissed him a few days after surgery, as I was so pleased with the results (and, yes, the pain pills probably made me a little emotional).
