They want me to go to a rehab facility for a week and the woman who came to talk about ,some sort of  therapist for the facility , started talking about how brave I was for being transgender which was funny , but it got quite hilarious in the next breath. She started talking about how she loved drag queens and how her and her boyfriend love seeing drag shows. She said she knew how I felt wanting to be female and how she loved putting on a lot of make up and frilly clothes. It was quite funny. I just sat back in my chair looking at her in astonishment that I had actually encountered someone like this and so young.

I've ran into people like that. A lot of government employees. Usually I'm such a smart arse that I'm the one making them laugh during interviews though. I remember one time I was in a group interview and the interviewer asks, "So if you could be any animal, real or mythological, what would it be?" So immediately I blurt out, "I WOULD BE A UNICORN SO I CAN FART RAINBOWS AND GLITTER!!!" Probably why I'm still unemployed, but they laughed pretty hard. :P

So earnest and well-intentioned.  But so totally clueless . . .

I guess I get a kick out of helping people understand. Look at what the public has to go on about us. On TV, we are the deranged serial killer, RuPaul drag, or confused with being gay. Actually had some very nice person ask me if, when I transition, will I be into "like the RuPaul thing." Each person we help to understand makes it better for us and those who come after.
Now come on Stephanie, you want to fess up to all your drag show activities recently. :)

If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.

I think you get an A+ for forbearance and a sense of humor.
