Description of my bow bossing consult with Dr. Sirichai at Preecha Aesthetic Institute.

My first consult was by email in which I stated that I was interested in having brow bossing or forehead contouring and brow lift done in the near future. Additionally, I enquired about which brow bossing technique the doctor uses, the traditional technique of pealing the skin away from the face and grinding down the skull bone, or the less invasive  endoscopic technique? I specifically asked, does the doctor remove, reshape, and reattach the anterior well of the sinus caverity? I also sent five photos that included profile shots.  They responded by not answering any of my questions and gave me a price list for the procedures that I requested. At this point, I wrote them off my short list.  But, desided to give them a second look after reading a highly positive review on one of my threads on this board by a long time member of Susan's Place.

I requested and received an appointment for this morning at 9: 30 am. I arrived at the reception desk  and was requested to fill out the usual forms. After doing so,  I waited for about 15 minutes and then was escorted to Dr. Surachai office. I walked into the office and there was an elderly Thai man sitting at his desk, playing solitaire on his computer. I then introduced myself and said that he was recommended to me online by a member of Susan's Place. He responded by saying he was very familiar with the website.

I repeated to him my request for brow bossing or forehead contouring and a brow lift. We examined my photos.  He said that I have a "normal " brow and don't need work done to the sinus caverity wall. At is point, I was feeling quite optimistic. Then as we were viewing the photos together,  I asked him how much of my "normal " brow would he be able to grind down to give me a female appearing forehead? This is the point when things started to go in the opposite direction.  The doctor responded by saying because I have a "normal" brow and forehead that there was not enough bone to work with to give me a female contoured brow and forehead. He said that the most that could be done was to shave milimeters off my brow and obitals and build up the forehead with an implant. In conclusion, I asked him if he could give me a female appearing forehead?  He simply said NO!

I welcome private messages. Thanks for your help.

I don't know what to make of that. Have you had consults with other surgeons?

I know what to make of your consult.

Go elsewhere.

I will put in a caution now.

Any medic bashing is not allowed.

If you post material that is seen or considered libel by a anyone you are responsible for any outcome.

STR does not in anyway condone publishing any 'bashing' post and the staff try to remove them. But you are responsible for them if any legal action is taken it is against the poster and we may have to release any post if requested by Law.

You are officially warned of the consequences.
