Let me first say a few things before I jump to new years resolution

Okay, today I was extremely happy with my breasts for some reason- they are getting sore (second time) and they are starting to point outwards slowly.- I like touching them every second.

Now my dosage just got upped and I've been getting really emotional- I'm starting to cry and last night I felt so sad because I felt lonely-couldn't sleep. It's hard because I never been a relationship with anyone and I'm still a teenager. What's so crazy is that I never found myself attracted to men and yesterday I was just thinking about getting a boyfriend- but the thing is I don't really want to get a relationship with them because they aren't very understanding and can get violent with a TS.

I don't know what's up but I think HRT is making me think of SRS and living fulltime. I'm not ready to go fulltime yet but I'm pretty eager too. Also I want to buy my first bra so bad.

So anyway I was looking at this girl's legs and they were pretty nice & round?

Now the thing is my legs aren't bad by bone structure- they are pretty skinny

so the questions are

1) overtime will HRT fill in fats in my legs, make them rounder, soft and more womanly looking?

2)) can HRT help the knee look less dominant by filling in fat?

3) I don't know what's up but I'm getting some stares from some women- like they are reading me or looking at my features

ps- I know everyone reacts different and there are several factors

so what are your resolutions?

Hey Tanya,

Ummm, I can't really answer the question about the legs for you.  But I haven't noticed mine getting any larger, they're pretty ridiculously skinny and stick like as is, so maybe HRT will in the months to come?  I'm not really 100% sure on that so maybe someone else can chim in for you.

QuoteI'm not ready to go fulltime yet but I'm pretty eager too.

And ahhh, so you feel that way too!  Would be nice if this was just instant you know of course eh? :)

Anyways though, happy New Years and hope you find your answers!

This is what happened to me on HRT:

1.  Yes, my legs and thighs became fuller and the knee rounder because of redistributed fat.
2.  See #1
3.  When you see a woman staring you can look at her, show a pleasant little smile, and maybe a teensy nod or just move your lips (no sound) to say "Hi!"  This will be useful practice in understanding that much of what we say to one another is non-verbal.

Concerning HRT and your dosage, are you using estrogen under a doctor's supervision?  If not, I warn you that estrogen is some powerful stuff and it needs to be used only when prescribed by your doctor.  As you have seen, it can have strong effects on the physical brain, the mind, and the emotions.

I advise you to avoid guys until your transition is done.  If you don't, you might end up as a sad statistic.

If you feel that you need to talk in private you can pm me and we will see where that goes.  I am not a psychologist or a psychiatrist, just a woman who started her life in the wrong body.  I am 56 years old and have made a lot of the errors younger people might make so I can give them a fool's advice.

Be well and stay well, Tanya1.

Yes I'm under a doc's a supervision, he upped my dosage and more effects came in. so far he said I'm healthy, heart in great condition, good body wieght, cholestrol, blood pressure, liver, kidney etc-

I excersice daily and eat healthy as he said that it helps transition go faster and can prevent compilications.

Anyway, I'm getting attracted to guys and still attracted to girls. I want to start buying clothes too and the thought of getting SRS & fulltime is getting more intense- I don't know if it's HRT. I got more pissed when I get "sired" too...

What hurts so much is being able to have a relationship with some1, it just so hard for a trans but possible...

Very true...HRT should only be viewed as a one-way street...there really is no going back once you start...you can stop, but usually once you develop breasts the only way to truly get rid of them is surgery...so you need to be sure about things before starting on hormones...and taking hormones may also make you have to transition before you're really ready...just a few thoughts to keep in mind.

Peace and love,

Hi, Tanya,

I might be the "resident cynic" here but I do not recommend beginning any sort of relationship until you have had GRS.  It's not safe to go out with someone and have them discover that you are a "work in progress."  Many of our sisters have had a beating hund on them and some have been shot and killed.

Give yourself time to allow Grandmother Estrogen to work on you while you prepare for your GRS.

I am 56 years old and I never was one for the club scene.  You might be.  I don't propose to tell you what to do, but may I recommend that as you transition you keep an open mind about where you should go for an evening?

If it was my decision to make I would not restrict myself to night spots that are known as GBLT gathering places.  This reality is much larger.  Don't concern yourself about a shop, store, or club being "T-friendly."  You should spend your money wherever you wish and if you are treated rudely, complain and don't go back there again.

Be well, stay well, and savor your transition.

Hey Isabelle,

I know the whole deal don't worry.  I just felt like using some sense of humor there hehe.
