"Nine questions you can NEVER ask in a job interview

Small and medium sized employers need to become more aware of how interviewing a candidate for employment could land them in hot water.

The range of anti-discrimination and industrial laws that operate in an employment situation are often just as applicable to the job interview process.

Sometimes employers let their guard down and ask questions that could imply that their decision to employ or not to employ someone has been influenced by considerations that constitute unlawful discrimination.

Here are nine inappropriate questions and why you should avoid them."

What about, "Why should I give a job to a weirdo like you?"
I had the rather odd, "Would you say you march to the beat of your own drum?" I said I probably did, and I still got the job. Wonder what would have happened if I had said I was a drone.

Then they would've given you the job as the b->-bleeped-<-iper  ;)

I missed out there then didn't I?

There could be a bright side to losing that job. They used to put b->-bleeped-<-ipers at the head of the troops when marching into battle, supposedly to scare the opposing forces, unfortunately I don't think many pipers survived.  :(

The kilts are kinda cute, although it'd be nice if they were available in other colours besides plaid  >:D  <running for cover>

Yes, quite a racket!

I guess I'm a bit weird, but I actually like b->-bleeped-<-ipes...  :icon_headfones:

well you are a bit weird, but so do I. I didn't until I went to Galicia and heard the b->-bleeped-<-ipes there.

The song is Urmawi by Covus Corax, but why the silly lady is wearing a fiery sword on her head, not a scooby.

Cool tune! I like Galician Celtic music. I don't do fiery swords myself  ;) I've been to Spain, but was only in the south, so I never heard b->-bleeped-<-ipes while there. Plenty of flamenco guitars though, and that was great!

Many years ago I heard a band Rare Air, b->-bleeped-<-ipes, synth, elec bass and drums, very funky and cool.
