Thanks. It's a name on its own. I had a hard time choosing a name too. I wanted something neutral and was thinking of all the neutral names I could. In the end, I started googling names, but then Rin popped into my head. I've loved the name since I learned about the bird wren (but Rin is pronounced as it's spelled with an 'i' as in it rather than an e). I heard it a couple times as names in anime. I write stories, and usually, I like to name the male protagonist Rin. At least until I come up with a different name because my characters can't all be called the same thing. And I realized that my male lead is usually a projection of mental image I have of my masculine self. So in that respect, Rin is the perfect name for me. I wasn't sure how I felt about changing my name at first, but being called Rin just feels amazing.
