Apologies for going a bit offtopic but if you don't mind my asking how did your breast development go while compressed for so long?

Just started growing recently so always worry I can somehow accidentally break them or otherwise mess up their growth.

I don't compress in any way just a comfort bra 24/7ish though probably a bit more worried about things than most.

I know this is a 'piece of string' question, but I'm sure newcomers would like a rough ballpark on what to expect. Have you been on hrt for five years and still fly under the radar? Did you get outed after three weeks when someone exclaimed "He's a girl!!!!" Any and all experiences most welcome  :)
As a side question you can mention whether or not you were TRYING to go stealth

I think that if you just take hormones you can live as a man forever as you will have facial hair and you can easily hide breast (if you ever get some) if you do not live in a tropical country and wear a jacket all the time.

Unless they get huge they look like developed pecs under a loose shirt if you have an athletic frame.

I normally wear somewhat loose button shirts and it's not an issue.  It would be with a tight polo shirt.

What about hiding nipples?
My nipples got really big, but I was able to conceal them with a bandaid, and I wore a tight t-shirt as an under garment as well.

My chest growth, as well as passing as a woman without meaning to, outed me at work after five months of hrt. I was young, though.

I've been very happy with my development. Using the ace bandages trick can and probably will cause damage or detriment to growth so I wouldn't touch that, but compression gear is safer. I can't say for sure 100% but in my experience the growth has been great anyway and any athletic girl is using a compression tank or bra for support. If anything would out me it would be my breast growth so personally I don't think the compression has hindered at all.

Just get one that fits though, dont downsize for tighter fits. You wanna breathe lol

This is what I use. It's available on Amazon and it comes in a variety of colors to match whatever you are wearing over it. I've tried different shirts and tops but I have lots of these! By far my favorite =]

as far as nipples - if compression doesn't cut it and you are lucky to have giant nips then literally search "nipple cover" on amazon, you'll find many many choices lol

Thanks Lexi :)

Always good to have that extra bit of reassurance to fend off the fear of somehow sabotaging my own future.

My old body and mind were almost complete destroyed by ignorance, definitely not taking any chances.

6 months, my boobs were out in full force and me being as thin as I'am, it was impossible to hide with sports bras by then. I was forced to come out to my best friend when he visited, couldnt hide it anymore.

Managed about 18 months before anyone noticed. I did a lot of electrolysis and grew my hair out at the same time, people often thought I was starting to look younger!

I don't really know if it counts but I've taken low does hormones very sporadically for the best part of 5 years, but probably equal to about 8 months when totalled up as consecutive doses.  I'm 100% stealth and have never been noticed to my knowledge. Once or twice girls in the office commented on my 'man boobs' which put the fear of God into me. I now wear a compression vest to work and along with having lost weight, nobody seems to notice my (small) breast growth.

I'm 5 months in and if I wanted to it would be easy to hide, but I'm presenting full time and haven't tried it out yet. I'd say if you haven't done facial hair removal yet that is a way to hide as a beard is pretty obvious!

I look forward to the day I can reach male fail, if that happens. Most people here are reporting similar time-scales to me or shorter so not feeling too confident :(

However, I suppose if you really worked hard at it you could hide it forever, but it would probably end up being quite uncomfortable due to needing a binder and such.

can i ask how old are you, the younger it will be harder to hide

I'm MTF and pass with zero problems. That being said, I can go out in guy drag, turn on the awkward clomping about, put the 1000 mile stare on, dial the monotone guy voice down and presto, I'm a skinny guy and no one would even question it. Just as I'm able to do the opposite and achieve the opposite goal. People see what you show them and they know what you want them to know. I suspect much of that is because most people simply don't care. If you want to know if you pass either way, get around a pack of children. They're brutal! lol

Hi, Bubblegum90!

Welcome to Susan's Place.

Thanks for jumping in.  The post(s) that you are commenting on are a couple of years old, so the member might not be around to reply.

I started at age 62, and after three months, the changes were getting hard to conceal.
