Walked into planned parenthood for my first appointment, I was amazed that I wasnt psychologically interrogated to determine if I was trans enough and they gave me the first dose same day. Im ecstatic, honestly.

So now that Im officially on it what can I expect, are any of the feelings mostly psychological at this point or if my body can in some way feel it working. I Besides feeling energetic I kind of feel like my body had been tingling, and then maybe slightly sore in some places, but in a good way, if that makes sense.

My doctor gave me a watered down <not allowed> mL of T for my first dose at the clinic and recommends <not allowed> mL (not watered down) once a week.

Pretty excited to get started at this point

Moderator edited to get rid of dosage amounts.

Would you like this moved into the sub folder of Testosterone?

Move to Testosterone, Joanna.

In general, I felt a little more positive mentally just knowing that I was on T. I started having changes during the first week, so if I had any "is this all in my head" feelings, they were gone pretty quick because I had clear visual and audible evidence that it wasn't in my head. If that helps.

Like Max I felt better psychologically because I was on it. But I don't think I felt genuinely like the dysphoria was starting to ebb away until the 3 month mark. You're going to see some minor changes until then. But I didn't feel like I was really making any progress until 4 months on T; because up to then I just felt like an awkward teenager going through puberty and I still didn't see any noticeable fat redistribution face wise.
They/them pronouns preferred.

I had a bit of a headache for the first month or so, but generally felt like I had more energy...and calm.  I felt an amazing sense of calm...if that makes sense.  I did not have any noticeable physical changes until about the third month, when my voice started dropping.
